The collection of information was done under the authority of section 61(c) of the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015, for the purpose of collecting public feedback on Newfoundland and Labrador’s workers’ compensation system.
All submissions to the Committee are subject to and may be released in accordance with the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015. Therefore, it was recommended that participants not include personal information in their submissions.
Only those submissions with the prior written consent of the participant/organization and which are permissible under ATIPP to be released may published on the EngageNL website. As such, written consent was required per the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015.
