Affordability and access to early learning and child care programs are significant challenges for many families. More affordable child care allows more parents to participate in the workplace, helps grow the economy, and helps ensure children receive the early learning, care and positive experiences that benefit their lifelong learning. Our goal is to ensure a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all children who participate in regulated child care settings.
The Child Care Subsidy Program is an income tested program designed to assist families with the cost of child care fees at regulated child care services. The Child Care Subsidy Program enables eligible families to access regulated child care services by eliminating or minimizing cost within available resources.
